Narla giggled softly as Jesse made a comment about her mother being awesome “Don’t think I’ve ever heard her being referred to as that..but she does a pretty good job as a single mom, she’s amazing” she girl finished the sentence with a bright smile “I’ve never had a boyfriend meet her before, but I couldn’t be happier as to how that turned out I don’t know what I was so afraid of” she tucked one of Jesse’s brunette curls behind his ear “I love you more” the blond whispered as the two made their way to the restaurant.
Walking hand-in-hand with Jesse made Narla smile non stop, the way his hand fit so perfectly in hers was astounding, she never wanted to be without him - ever. BreadstiX was a little quieter then usual, the blond took the lead and led the boy to a booth in the back where it was a little more private.
“Well, to be honest, I was kind of scared too. I never met the parents of the girls I dated, so it’s wired, but yet it feels right, he looked at the girl as they were seated in the booth, hands locked, as he brushed his thumb over her palm.
“I’m really glad we’re doing this, you know?, he said as the girl rested her head on his shoulder, and twisted it in a questioning look at his statement. “I mean, not having to hide from anyone, taking it slow, doing it all right. I never did that in my other relationships and they all just ended up so messed up, and I don’t want it for us. I really do see a future for us, Narla. I’m serious about New York next year. After Nationals, I’m going to resign from Carmell. But I have to know that you’re in this with me, okay baby?”
